This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Orbita collects, why, and the choices you have. "Orbita", "we", or "us" means Veritech Supply LLC (EIN 41-4817017), the controller of the data described here. It covers our website at onorbita.com, the Orbita NOC dashboard, the tenant portal, and our APIs (together, the "Services").

01Who we are

Veritech Supply LLC operates Orbita, a platform for managing Starlink connectivity and Tesla Powerwall energy across distributed sites. Registered office: 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. For any privacy question, contact [email protected].

02Data we collect

You give us

  • Contact & demo requests — name, work email, company, country, phone, and the message you send via our forms.
  • Account data — for customers: operator name, email, role, and authentication identifiers (including SSO subject IDs where your organization uses single sign-on).
  • Billing data — company, billing contact, tax ID, and usage counts. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

We collect automatically

  • Operational telemetry — within the Services we process device, terminal, and Powerwall telemetry (signal, throughput, location of equipment, charge state, alerts) on behalf of our customers.
  • Technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and error logs, used to keep the Services secure and reliable.
No third-party ad tracking. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which issues a verification token without setting tracking cookies or running third-party analytics. See our Cookie Policy.

03How we use your data

  • To respond to enquiries and schedule demos you request.
  • To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
  • To deliver telemetry, alerts, provisioning, and billing to our customers.
  • To meet legal, tax, and security obligations and to prevent abuse.

05Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, under contract:

  • Infrastructure & hosting — cloud hosting (AWS, eu-west-1 primary) and Cloudflare for edge security and bot protection.
  • Communications — email delivery providers used to reply to you and send service notices.
  • Identity — single sign-on providers where your organization enables SSO.
  • Connectivity & energy partners — Starlink/SpaceX and Tesla Powerwall systems, strictly to operate the equipment you manage.
  • Legal — authorities where required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

06International transfers

Orbita data primarily resides in the EU (eu-west-1) with the United States as a secondary region. Where data moves across borders — including to Veritech Supply LLC in the USA — we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

07Retention

  • Enquiry data — kept up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
  • Account & telemetry data — retained for the life of the customer relationship; operational telemetry up to 7 years where contracted for compliance, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Billing records — retained as required by tax law.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

For customer-controlled data (telemetry, end-user records in the tenant portal), the customer is the controller; we will route your request to them.

09Security

We apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, tenant isolation with row-level security, audit logging, and least-privilege access. Our SOC 2 Type II program is in progress. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.

10Children

The Services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notified to customers.
