Air-gapped & on-prem.
Containerised deployment to your hardware, your data centre, or a classified network enclave. Optional fully air-gapped install — telemetry never crosses an authorisation boundary you have not explicitly opened.
The same operating layer that runs commercial fleets — re-packaged for military buyers, federal agencies, and the integrators who serve them. Air-gapped deployment, FIPS 140-3 cryptography, multi-classification handling, and a 24/7 support team with cleared operators. Targeting general availability in 2027.
Commercial fleet-control vendors ask you to send your terminal telemetry to their cloud, on their domain, behind their auth. That model does not survive a classified network, an operations centre in an austere environment, or an overseas connectivity-constrained operation.
Orbita ships as a self-hosted, single-tenant deployment. Your terminals, your telemetry, your operators, your authentication. We just give you the control surface — and stay out of the data path entirely if that's what your authorisation boundary requires.

All data-in-transit and data-at-rest encryption uses FIPS 140-3 validated modules. mTLS between operator clients and the control plane. Per-terminal key isolation; rotation is a one-click operator action with full audit.
SAML 2.0, OIDC, and smart-card authentication (CAC / PIV class). Role-based access tied to operator clearance level. Break-glass workflow for incident response is auditable to the second.
FedRAMP Moderate authorization in process via a sponsoring agency. CMMC Level 2 target for the development pipeline. DISA STIG-hardened base images shipped with every release. Continuous monitoring artifacts on request.
A subset of the Orbita support team holds active US clearances and operates under a separate secure-facility shift schedule. Response SLA on classified terminals is 5 minutes, 24/7/365.
US-person-only access flags on every terminal record. ITAR / EAR data export blocked at the API layer. Multi-classification tagging (UNCLAS · CUI · SECRET-class) with cross-domain transfer denied unless explicitly enabled.
Operators have run Orbita against terminals in places where "the cloud" is not a guarantee.
Track every flyaway, portable, and vehicle-mounted terminal across a multi-unit deployment. Geo-fenced alerting tied to operational area boundaries. Bulk firmware push when a unit lands in a new region.
SLA-grade visibility across every satellite terminal on every hull. Per-vessel tenant portal for ship-side operational security. Throughput baselining for the watch-standing communications officer.
Health on the connectivity the team actually depends on. Obstruction alerts before the link drops. Thermal warnings before the dish fails in 49 °C ambient.
Disaster-response connectivity that has to work the first time. Wildfire incident command, hurricane staging, polar research stations. Same control surface, civilian acquisition path.
When Defense edition reaches general availability, these are the acquisition vehicles we are preparing for. Early-access design partners get to pick the path that matches their timeline.
90-day paid pilot against a defined operational use case. Self-hosted on hardware you provide. Full Defense edition feature set; success metric agreed upfront.
Direct-to-Phase-II proposals on connectivity-fleet management welcomed once topics open. We can co-author the technical volume if there is a matching topic.
Available through federal innovation channels and Commercial Solutions Openings. Past performance on connectivity-fleet contracts can be shared under NDA.
Multiple Award Schedule application is in preparation. Federal registrations active. CAGE code and UEI available on request. Sole-source justification template available for urgent requirements.
We are accepting a limited number of design partners ahead of the 2027 general availability. Partners get to influence the v1 feature set, see the build six months before public release, and lock in founding pricing.
Defense edition is on the roadmap, not on the shelf. Join the early-access list and help us decide which capability lands first. Or send a short note via the contact form — we read every one.
